Globalisation Institute - The Globalisation Institute are an international development think tank based in London. It works towards educating opinion formers, policymakers and the general public about globalisation.
Longeron - In aircraft construction, a Longeron is a thin strip of wood or metal, to which the skin of the aircraft is fastened. Longerons are attached to Formers, in the case of the fuselage, or ribs in the case of a wing, or empennage.
Former - A former is a structural member of an aircraft fuselage, of which a typical fuselage has a series from the nose to the empennage, typically perpendicular to the roll axis of the aircraft. The formers establish the shape of the fuselage.
British-American Project - The British American Project for the Successor Generation was founded in 1985 by Nick Butler to perpetuate the close relationship between the United States and Britain. It has a membership of around 600 leaders and opinion formers from both countries.
