Mechanical energy - In physics, mechanical energy is one of several forms of energy. It is distinguished by the property that it can be transferred from one system to another by forces known to Newtonian mechanics, and includes kinetic energy and potential energy.
Zero-point energy - In physics, the zero-point energy refers to the lowest possible energy that a quantum mechanical model of a physical system may posses; it is the energy of the ground state of the system. All quantum mechanical systems have a zero point energy.
Free energy - The free energy is a measure of the amount of mechanical (or other) work that can be extracted from a system, and is helpful in engineering applications. It is a linear combination of the energy and the entropy of a system, yielding a thermodynamic state function which represents the "useful energy".
Energy efficiency - In physics and engineering, including mechanical and electrical engineering, energy efficiency is a dimensionless number, with a value between 0 and 1. The energy efficiency of a process is defined as:
Through-Fields Energy - The alternative electric energy can be obtained directly through the fields, electric and electromagnetic filed, without a consumption of mechanical energy. The total energy source is the second fundamental interaction of matter, the electromagnetic force.
