Normal temperature and pressure - Because atmospheric conditions vary from location to location on the earth, standard conditions are used to allow for comparison and recording of the physical properties of substances, especially gases, where local variations in temperature and pressure can greatly affect measurements.
Segmental blood pressure - Segmental blood pressure is used to measure actual limb pressures. The purpose of these measurements is to look at arterial occlusion.
