Noise (electronic) - In any electronic circuit, there exist random variations in current or voltage caused by the random movement of the electrons carrying the current as they are jolted around by thermal energy. The lower the temperature the lower is this thermal noise.

Sunspots (economics) - In economics, sunspots (sometimes a sunspot) usually refers to an extrinsic random variable, that is, a random variable that does not directly effect economic fundamentals (endowments, preferences, and technology). “Sunspots” can also refer to the related concept of extrinsic uncertainty, economic uncertainty that does not come from variations in economic fundamentals.

Stochastic neural network - Stochastic neural networks are a type of artificial neural networks, which is a tool of artificial intelligence. They are built by introducing random variations into the network, either by giving the network's neurons stochastic transfer functions, or by giving them stochastic weights.

Mixed-breed dog - A mixed-breed dog (also called a mutt, crossbreed, mongrel, tyke, cur, or random-bred dog, see Terms for mixed-breed dogs, below) is a dog that is a mixture of two or more breeds, or a descendant of feral or pariah dog populatons. Since, except for extreme variations in size, dogs interbreed freely, mixed-breed dogs vary in size, shape, and color, making them hard to classify physically.
